Blast into space

This week sharon came in to tell us about the summer learning journey. I decided I would give it a try so I went on the site and did the first activity.The first activity was to do a NASA colouring book so I choose the rocket blasting into space one.

I found this activity quite fun and I am keen to keep doing it over the holidays.There were two options they were 1 kick start and 2 step it up.I choose the step it up one because that would mean you get more points.Have a look below at what I coloured. Incredible Invention

This week my hub has been inventing helpful things to solve problems in the world.Me and my friend Amelia have been doing a project called the animal sensor. Amelia told me a problem it was: That when ever there family was having a meal there Cat would come and want to have food.So we have started to design a thing tha sensors the Animal then a thing appears automatically giving the animal food.

I have enjoyed doing this project so far and I will enjoy doing it next week me and Amelia are very excited to see what it will turn into.I have enjoyed doing this project so far and I will enjoy doing it next week me and Amelia are very excited to see what it will turn into.Also the Teachers said that the best thing that  anyone in the class events they will put money into the project and see if we can make it.                                                                                                                                                                                          Goodbye bloggers and Merry Xmas      

My super scratch

This thursday Sharon the cyber smart lady came for the last time this year.We had three options.The 1st option was - Create a game or animation to teach a student from a different school about our inquiry.The 2cnd one was - Create a game entertaining a younger or older sibling while your family are busy (Mum Dad).The 3rd option was - Create an animation that tells a story.Perhaps it is based on something have read or make your own up.I chose number 2 I found that the most interesting choice.

I did my game on scratch it was about a fox who was chasing a rabbit. I really enjoyed doing this I found it very fun because I like gaming apps. This week my class has been doing kiwi inavaters. So we have a option of what things we can create and learn about.I did mine in buddies.Elsie and me created and learnt about the easiyo yogurt.Our task was to create a yogurt flavour and a company. So me and Elsie did a company called Yummy Yo Yo .

Supper Cool Slogan

This week my maths class has been doing Transformation and it is coming to an end so we have done a fun activity to finish it up.We have to go on canva and make a slogan about ourselves.Before we created our slogan we got a piece of paper it had some logos on it.With the logos we had to spot the transformation.

Cool Culture

This week my class has been doing cultural diversity. Basically we have to gather some information about some cultures that make up Marshland School. I did my slide with my buddy Amelia. The country's we chose were South Africa,China and Columbia.

Me and my buddy Amelia have found some pretty cool information about different cultures for example did you know the game cat and mouse is originally a chinese game? What is your culture?

Amazing Animations

This week for cybersmart the year 6 have been making Te reo animation what we have to do is set a scene then spot things behind the people and write it in maori .

I did mine in a park I had a person standing in the scene and she was the one saying the maori words behind her. I named a tree, flowers, rocks and the sun.
